You can access support for sexual violence and rape without having to make a report to Police.

You can also access support if this has happened to you recently or in the past.

If you are at imminent risk of harm or danger call 999 - if it not safe to speak dial 55 during the call and this will alert Police. If you have been a victim of sexual violence or rape in the past and want to report this to the Police you can do by calling 101.

Experiencing sexual violence or rape can lead to significant emotional distress, lots of questions and feelings of anger shame and distrust. It can impact on our mental health and wellbeing in the short and long term and be difficult to recover from. Each persons experience can be different and have a different impact on our lives. It is important to remember that when you are ready there is support available to you.
