In April 2020, we launched the online DBS check service which makes applying for a DBS certificate easier and faster! We are working with eSafeguarding who are an online DBS checking service. For the vast majority of courses requiring mandatory DBS, you will complete the DBS application and payment online with eSafeguarding rather than via a paper application.
You will bring 3 forms of ID into the Student Centre with at least one being a proof of address.Please see the ID document checklist attached to the DBS application email when you receive it for acceptable documents.
There are a select number of courses which will still complete their DBS application via a paper application form, this will be communicated with students via post.
